My Story
I come from a country
that no longer exists.
Serbia and Montenegro: not Siberia, not Syria, though people mix it up more than you’d think. I moved to the US with a plan: start college, finish college, earn my MBA, figure out the rest. That’s exactly what happened.
For 13 years, I rowed. The last 5 on a full scholarship, the 6th and final chapter as a graduate assistant coach. Rowing is the most honest sport there is. Everyone moves at exactly the same time, or nobody wins. No shortcuts. No hiding. I’ve never forgotten that.
I organise my life in Notion. I think in systems. I find inefficiency genuinely offensive. But I’m creative at heart, I just don’t let creativity be an excuse for chaos. The best ideas mean nothing if the execution is broken. I care about both equally. Harmony.
I am the person who has to understand how something works all the way through before I’m satisfied. Not because someone asked me to. Because I can’t help it.

I was the first marketing hire. The company was small, scrappy, and figuring itself out. So was I.
Eight bosses in two and a half years. Every single one came with new priorities, new systems, new ways of doing things. I onboarded all of them, kept every campaign running without missing a beat, and never used the chaos as an excuse.
The company grew fast. Really fast. What worked for 40 people stopped working at 150. What worked at 150 needed rebuilding at 300. I rebuilt it. Every time. I tripled direct mail response rates, managed a $700K budget across 10 regions, and ran campaigns simultaneously without missing a single deadline.
The job title changed three times. The mission stayed the same: make it work, make it better, keep moving.
